The College Network review in Tampa, Florida: College a miseralble scam. Shame, shame

I am handicapped but am a Paramedic. The lady met with told me she represented Excelsior which is another story in itself. She also told me that i had 90 days to cancel. I want to be a part of a class action suit. I already filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and the BBB. I refuse to submit to this shameful and predatory business. I feel like such a fool. They are just an overprice book company and is in cahoot's with Excelsior. Example: When i called Excelsior and asked them they denied connection with them. Why have they not sued for fraud? Because they get a kick back. How do any of them actually sleep at night? Because i have not been sleeping. I will probably have to filed bankruptcy.

my husband and i are both lpns and thought this would be a great way for us to get our RN together the rep came to our home and we signed up for the program after he left we looked up TCN on several websites like this and immediately called to cancel due to the 3 day cancellation period because it was already late in the day they told us we need to call our rep and he would help us cancel the next day, so we called him the following morning and wouldnt you know it he wasnt able to take our phone call i demanded to speak to a manager right there and then and also told them i was recording the phone calls and seeing a lawyer after i got off the phone, all of a sudden they were slightly helpful and told me to send a letter stating we wished to cancel along with the cheap binders they call books and someone would get back to us when they revived the letter long story short i overtightened everything and made sure they had to sign for the package, even after we did everything they asked they still would not send me documentation on us canceling i had to demand it and threaten them again with a lawyer. im glad to say they faxed the paperwork that afternoon and we sidestepped a major scam. these people are crooks and will try ever dirty tactics to keep your money thank god for websites like this that warned us before it was to late

The College Network Program

The College Network review in Washington, District Of Columbia: TCN scam

I signed with TCN a couple months ago and have tried to get a hold of the guy who signed me up of coarse now he doesn't answer any e mails or phone calls. I called academic support to see if there was any way I could just take the testing fees out of my loan to lower my payment and they were no help. I just find the study materials bogus and feel that they glorified the program........ what a load! I'm interested in the law suit. I also called Excelsior and they have no agreement and deny any affiliation with TCN which wasn't what I was told when I signed up!

The College Network Program

The College Network added extra classes on and financing on to me without my permission!

I signed with The College Network thinking that I would be able to advance my career from an LPN to RN bachelor as a single mother to make life easier for me and my children. This compny feeds you unrealistic expectations and then added extra courses on financing on without my permission which they say I agreed to when they came to my house and suckered me into this program! I called and aske to cancel the program and was very rudely told that this is not a student loan it is an installment loan and I was stuck. How blunt!!I am very disappointed and as a single mothr of three I can no longer afford the 200 per month that they debiting out of my checking account! please contact me if there is going to be a class action suit filed. I would love to join.

I was scammed back in 2012 right after I passed my LVN State Boards in California. The College Network (TCN) told me that for $10,000, I could take all my prerequisites online through TCN & that they were transferrable to Indiana State University (ISU) where I was told I could get my BSN at by taking online classes.

NOT! I found out that ISU had no affiliate hospital in CA that I could do my clinicals at. So my parents gave me $10,000 to pay off my unsecured TCN loan. Then I attended West Coast University in CA to obtain my BSN.

I attempted to go after TCN, but got no where with it. I would love to get my parents' money back, but I doubt I will since TCN is insolvent.

The College Network review in Saint Petersburg, Florida: My College Network contract was cancelled 30 min. after signing and the rep didn't do it!

I made it clear throughout my meeting with the rep who wrote my contract that I DID NOT want a Bachelor's, only an AS and he wrote it for the BS anyways. I should have read it more carefully, but I cancelled less than an hour later to be rewritten for the AS when I came back from Ohio as I was leaving that night. He assured me he would hold it but LIED. I'm being harassed for payment of a BS I don't want and they won't cancel. My phone calls are proof I cancelled.

I am also having the same things happen to me with this company. Not only is the material not on the tests, but now I'm finding it difficult to find a testing center to take the exams.

The ones on the list no longer except outside students.

The whole program is very disappointing and I should have listened to a collegue of mine who went through the program and said to stay away. I would also like to be involved in the class action lawsuit.
